Bundaberg-1770-Agnes waters

1 juni 2014 - Sydney, Australië

The last month in Australia started today meaning it's time to do as much as possible in very little time.

So yesterday we drove over 400km in our lovely Mitsy the Mitsubishi to go and see the town of 1770. A small coastal town with lovely beaches and a nature park where we did a walk surrounded by butterflies!! Then off to the famous pub looking right out over the sea before we headed down to Agnes Waters to do our Scooteroo tour.

when we got to the shed we got given a jacket and helmet with flames all over them. Outside where buckets of water and a container full of 'biker tattoos' that we  then covered ourselves with. Once we looked like bikers it was time to actually get on the bikes. Converted scooters made to look like Harley Davidson, very cool. After a couple of practice loops and being told off for going too fast we got to go on the road. These things only go upto 70km/hour but it feels amazing racing up and down hills and around bends with kangaroos jumping all around. I even had 4 jump right out in front of me. The tour was cut short though  because the rain started pouring down. Once back at the shed we where greeted with beers, potato wedges and a campfire before the long drive home began.

this morning the rain was still going but being positive we hoped for sun and went fishing anyway. Catching four fish made the cold bearable and it turned into a really nice day!
